My passion for photography began with film cameras, but it truly ignited when I got my first digital camera. Since then, I’ve upgraded to a Canon DSLR, which with my iPhone 14 pro gives me all the creative freedom I need to capture the world as I see it.

 

Previously a member of the Royal Photographic Society, I have taken courses in areas like street photography and studio lighting. While these courses provided valuable insights, I believe that having an eye for detail and recognising captivating moments are what truly make a photographer.

In 2009, I participated in Capture Camden by shootexperience.com, where I won “Most Creative Photo” and had my work exhibited in a Camden gallery. This experience further fuelled my creative journey.

Though I enjoy exploring many types of photography, macro photography holds a special place in my heart. After purchasing my macro lens, it rarely left my camera for almost a year, opening up a world of intricate beauty in everyday details. My approach is often spontaneous, letting moments unfold naturally rather than seeking specific subjects.
